Boys sport pink during football practice, games to raise breast cancer awareness
Pink - it's usually a color that teenage boys try to avoid at all costs. But some young football players in Gloucester are wearing it with pride.
13-year-old Lincoln Wood started a trend to take action and raise awareness about breast cancer. He decided to wear pink wrist bands for practice and games in October.
His teammates immediately wanted to take action, too.
Now many of them are sporting pink gloves, socks, bandanas, and wrist bands.
The players are not leaving their passion on the field.
Many have turned their "playing-in-pink" pictures into their profile photos on Facebook to spread the message even further.
